We Are

Bruce Honig,
Facilitator and Trainer

Bruce Honig is the founder and president of The Meetings Company. Bruce brings to his clients over 28 years in the field of Training, Facilitation and Organizational Development. Focusing primarily on organizational creativity and team collaboration, he has successfully worked with hundreds of companies representing most industries.

Bruce did research in the area of creative behavior and design at Farwest Laboratories for Educational Research and Development. Using a systems approach, Bruce developed a theory and program for promoting creative action, which later became the basis for his own consulting firm.

Bruce's unique understanding of the creative process led him to invent a number of games, including a nationally marketed board game, CREATE: The Game that Challenges and Expands your Creativity. He edited and wrote The CreativeMind, a newsletter devoted to supporting innovation in business, and has authored many journal articles on creativity. Bruce was previously the owner and operator of Camp Invention, a camp devoted to fostering creativity in children. Bruce is the principal author of Creative Collaboration: Simple Tools for Inspired Team Work.

Bruce served asa board member of American Society for Training And Development and is a member of the International Association of Facilitators.

Bruce has a B.A. in Educational Philosophy and a M.A. in Educational Psychology and Curriculum Design.

Alice Cochran,
Facilitator and Trainer

Alice Cochran has been active in the field of organization development for over fifteen years. Her focus is in working with teams and facilitating groups to achieve higher levels of planning and performance.

Alice has had extensive experience both in service industries and manufacturing. Some of her clients include Pacific Bell, Pacific Gas and Electric, E.I. DuPont, First Union Bank, Charles Schwab, Firemanís Fund, Agilent Technologies, Chiron, Apple Computer, Dow Chemical, Kaiser Permanente, Sun Microsystems and Shell Oil. She has served on the Board of Directors of the San Francisco chapters of American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) and the Bay Area Organization Development Network (BAODN). She is also a founding member of the International Association of Facilitators and the Bay Area Facilitatorís Guild.

In addition, she has worked with many non-profit organizations and has written "Robertaís Rules of Order" (Jossey-Bass, 2004) for corporate teams, nonprofit boards and other decision-making groups. She is a Faculty Fellow in the Institute for Leadership Studies and adjunct instructor at Dominican University of California in San Rafael.

Margaret Schultz,
Facilitator and Trainer

Margaret Schultz, M.A. is a highly experienced change management consultant with specialized expertise in organizational behavior, team-building techniques and group facilitation. Margaret has been a senior consultant and trainer with organizations worldwide. Over the past several years, Margaret has designed and facilitated teambuilding, leadership and supervisory training programs for several large organizations, including Orange County Head Start, General Motors, Toyota, and The Pacific Stock Exchange.

Jeanne-Marie Grumet,
Facilitator and Trainer

Jeanne-Marie Grumet is nationally and internationally respected as a dynamic speaker, and facilitator of leading-edge communication training.  For over 20 years she has engaged participants in powerful programs that produce lasting, positive results.  Backed by her years of experience and proven success working in sales, training, and management, she delivers customized speeches and courses.  Programs include interpersonal communications, presentation skills, teambuilding, customer service, sales, conflict resolution and management.

James Guzzetta,
Facilitator

James Guzzetta has over 28 years of experience in IT strategic planning, architecture and project management. He has held both upper management positions and consulting roles for Fortune 1000 companies across Financial Services, Retail and Education. He was a Senior Manager with KPMG. James infuses principles of collaboration, exploration and deep listening into his work to facilitate more effective meetings, strategic planning and communication skills training with professionals, both individually and in groups.
